Bring the swelling down. Quietly.
Where recovery from rhinoplasty meets a sanctuary you can actually rest in.

The recovery window
After rhinoplasty, the first two weeks are about reducing swelling and protecting the new structure. Bruising fades. Stitches come out. You are told to avoid heat, avoid pressure on the bridge, and stay upright.
Most people return to work within two weeks but still look and feel mid-recovery for another four to six.
How CAIAN supports this recovery
Once your surgeon clears you for gentle activity (usually two to three weeks post-op), CAIAN can help the latter half of the recovery move faster.
HBOT at 1.3 ATA supports cellular repair and helps reduce residual inflammation. JUNÒ AI-Guided Physiotherapy on the shoulders, neck, and back releases tension built up from sleeping upright. Infrared sauna comes last, only once the surgeon confirms wounds are fully healed (typically four to six weeks).
A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery concluded that patients whose post-surgical recovery was supported by HBOT healed significantly faster, with fewer complications.
When to start
Always after explicit clearance from your surgeon. As a general guide, and adjusted to your surgeon's specific guidance:
- HBOT and JUNÒtypical starting point
- Week 2-3
- Infrared saunatypical starting point
- Week 4-6
What we are not
CAIAN does not provide post-surgical medical care. We do not handle wound dressings, drain management, or stitch removal. Anything related to the surgical site itself remains with your surgeon. We support the part of recovery that happens after the medical care is complete.
