What it is

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is breathing oxygen at slightly higher than ambient pressure inside a sealed chamber. The pressure helps your body absorb more oxygen per breath.

At CAIAN we operate at 1.3 ATA — wellness-grade, distinct from the 2.0+ ATA medical chambers used in hospitals for decompression sickness or severe wound care.

How it works

Under pressure, oxygen dissolves more readily into blood plasma, reaching tissues that ordinary breathing cannot saturate as quickly. The body uses this surplus for repair — cellular regeneration, inflammation reduction, and tissue restoration.

What a session feels like

You lie down in a private cabin. The chamber pressurizes slowly over a few minutes; you may feel mild pressure in your ears similar to a flight descent. Once at pressure, breathing is quiet and even.

Most people read, listen to music, or simply rest. Sixty minutes pass without conversation, without interruption.

Pricing

RM 298 for a 60-minute single session. Also available as part of the 120-minute Full Recovery Session (RM 398, includes Sauna + JUNÒ + HBOT), or in transferable session packages.

A note

HBOT at 1.3 ATA is offered as a wellness service. We do not claim HBOT cures or treats specific medical conditions. If you are managing a medical condition or are post-surgery within the first weeks, please consult your doctor before booking.

Common questions
Is 1.3 ATA strong enough to do anything?
Yes, for wellness purposes. 1.3 ATA roughly doubles the oxygen your tissues can absorb compared to ambient air, which is enough to support cellular repair and reduce inflammation. The 2.0+ ATA pressures used in hospitals are for acute medical conditions like decompression sickness — a different category of intervention.
What does the pressurization feel like?
Like a slow flight descent. You may feel mild ear pressure as the chamber pressurizes over a few minutes. Equalizing is easy — swallowing or yawning is usually enough. Once at pressure, breathing is quiet and even.
How many sessions do I need to feel a difference?
Most guests notice improved sleep and reduced fatigue within 3 to 5 sessions. Visible recovery markers like reduced swelling or faster bruise resolution typically need 5 to 10 sessions over a few weeks. The effect compounds with consistency.
Are there days I shouldn't come?
If you have a cold, flu, sinus infection, or ear infection, please reschedule — the pressurization can be uncomfortable. Pregnancy, severe untreated cardiovascular conditions, and recent eye surgery are also reasons to postpone. We will go through this in your first intake.
