What it is

Infrared sauna uses light to heat the body directly, rather than heating the room around you. The result is warmth that feels gentler on the skin while raising core temperature in a deeper, more sustainable way than traditional steam saunas.

How it works

Infrared wavelengths penetrate beneath the skin, gently warming muscle and tissue. The body responds with vasodilation, increased circulation, and a sweat response that releases stored heat — the same way it would after sustained light activity.

What a session feels like

You enter a private cabin with full-spectrum panels along the walls. The light is warm, not harsh. Within minutes you'll feel surface warmth; over 30 to 45 minutes, the heat builds in a way that feels less aggressive than a steam sauna.

Most guests sweat moderately. You leave warm, loose, and a little quieter than you came in.

Pricing

RM 68 for a 45-minute single session. Also available as the first realm of the 120-minute Full Recovery Session (30 minutes within the ritual).

A note

Infrared sauna is a wellness service. We do not claim it treats specific medical conditions. Avoid use if you are pregnant, have low blood pressure, or have an open wound. If unsure, please ask before booking.

Common questions
How is this different from a traditional steam sauna?
Infrared heats your body directly through light wavelengths, not the air around you. The result is a deeper, more sustainable warmth at a lower ambient temperature — usually 45 to 55°C compared to 80 to 90°C in a steam sauna. Easier on the lungs, gentler on the skin.
What should I wear?
We provide a robe and disposable undergarments. You can keep your underwear or swimwear on inside the cabin. Most guests wear minimal layers to maximize heat absorption on the skin.
How much will I sweat?
More than you would expect. Most guests sweat moderately to heavily within 20 minutes — that is the body releasing stored heat. Bring a water bottle. We provide chilled water and towels.
Can I use the sauna after surgery?
Not until your wounds are fully healed and your surgeon clears heat exposure. For most cosmetic procedures this means waiting four to six weeks. We will always ask about recent surgery during intake and follow your surgeon's specific guidance.
